From my earliest memories, I have been an animal lover. I am told that as a baby, i would not stay in our own yard, but instead would crawl next door to be with the neighbor's dog.

Later, as a little girl, I would receive dolls as gifts, which I would unceremoniously abandon, saving only their clothes to put on my stuffed animals.

As a teen, I discovered art in school, and since that day, I have drawn and painted the animals that I so much love. Only recently have I realized that art is what I must pursue as a profession. Any animal might become my muse...the way it acts, looks, lives, eats, or sounds. when you look at my paintings, i hope you will not just see the image, but the spirit of the animal itself.
